Peering Out

I’m just a guy who is beginning the process of coming out fully to the world. These are my posts:

Spreading Out

So I woke up just before noon and plugged myself onto the net to see if I got any messages or comments on my blog. No to both. The other day I made a comment on Ryan’s blog. He’s a gay teen from Kansas. I probably freaked him out a bit because his next post was password protected so that only his friends can see it. Oh well. Maybe next time, I’ll keep my mouth shut.

I discovered another good blog today. It is http://crash0628.blogspot.com/. As much as I owe Chad Fox to my eventual coming out to myself, Sara, and Moose, Crash’s and Jeff’s website have given me a little more hope that I, too, may someday have some happiness. Crash is about the same age as me, but his experiences [In his 90's Something Series] seem to be a tad exaggerated. Even I have not had that many homosexual encounters. Jeff, though, is just about where I would love to end up. He’s been with his partner for eleven years and they are going strong and openly talks about the fact that they are so domesticated. They are in every way, except legal, a married couple. I’m so damned jealous of them yet I wish them the best with all my heart as well. If they can do it, then I can as well.

[Crash's website is second on my Special Thanks list. The authors of other gay blogs that I had read shared very little of their own coming out experiences. Crash (or I should say Patrick) freely shared his through his 90's Something series. Knowing another person's story allowed me to detatch and see my own situation with a new perspective.]
